Steve Shook's VintageSkates.com – Steve's trimmed down a lot, but still has some nice stuff and a great archive!

Skateboardcollector.com – Site includes special Gonz and Hawk sections, plus some great early pigs.

SkateboardPimp.com – This is one of the best collections of Dogtown and Z boards I've ever seen. The site is looking great Michael! Keep up the good work

BowlRider.com – From the southwest, where pools abound, comes Mellowcat's vintage skateboard collection. He's got some great old decks like his Caster Strople. Check it out...

Tony Hallam's Collection – Tony was a pro for Variflex during the 80s and the man can tear it up! His collection is amazing too. Some of my favorites are his Alva LiteBeam, his Casters and his Salba Bevel. Check it out. There's something for everyone here.

Skatelab – Great museum with over 1,000 boards attached to a skateboard park in Simi Valley, California. Sometimes I wish I lived on the left coast . . . but just sometimes!

Old School Sites

Art of Skateboarding – Massive site that documents more skateboards than any other site. A good tool for finding pricing history and just fun to explore. I could spend days here. Keep up the good work Chris.

Skull Skates – This is the headquarters of one of the best little companies from the old days. Site features an online store with all their current shapes and some of the older ones that have been re-issued. Oh yeah, and before you get angry at the high prices, remember that these are Canadian $$$. Also, check out the museum and the articles. There's a funny interview with Steve Olson and his son.

Cherry Hill Skatepark Tribute Site – Excellent new site that pays tribute to one of the best skateparks from the 70s. If you have any personal pics of CHS, please pass them on.

Bulldog Skates – This is the official on-line site for Wes Humpston's company. Check it out!

Deathbox Skateboards – Killer new company with many of your old school favorites. If you're gonna buy a new board, buy from these guys. Pro models include: Adams, Saladino, Hackett, Bowman, Folmer, Inouye and Ruml. Too cool!

PoolSkater.com – This site sells new boards with an old school flavor. Also has a small section of old school stuff.

Florida Skater – Awesome new site that features an interview with Mike Folmer. Great job guys!

Skateboarder Magazine – Archives of the best skateboard magazine ever...

Tony Alva – Great interview and pics of skateboard's king. It doesn't get any better!

Z-boys.com – Home of the coolest kids from the 70's. The original Zephyr team that started a revolution in the sport of skateboarding. Alva, Peralta, Biniak, Adams, Shogo and all the rest. That's right!

Wes Humpston – Site dedicated to the skateboard art of one of the best artists to emerge from the late 70s skateboard boom. Look all you want, but to actually have some of these gems would be quite something.

The Art of Jim Phillips – Great site dedicated to the creative force behind Santa Cruz Skateboards. Jim Phillips has created some of the best skateboard graphics. Definitely worth a look...

The origin of the "Ollie" – Stacy Peralta recounts meeting Alan Gelfand in 1977, and seeing the birth of the "Ollie". Neat bit of history and some great pics.

Skategeezer – A great forum for old-schoolers from the author of "The Concrete Wave", the best book ever written about the history of skateboarding (my opinion).

1st Annual Old School Skate Jam – Wow! Just about all my heroes in one place. I just wish I could have been there. Maybe next year...

Snake Session Magazine – Another old school related site. Jeff's just getting this one started, but the potential is definitely there.

Northern California Downhill Skateboard Association – Excellent resource with great forums on vintage skateboards, skateboard construction, longboarding and an extensive page of links.

Solid Skate – Excellent site for all your longboarding needs. These guys sell all my favorite current brands.

Lonecore – A Swiss website dedicated to longboard and slalom skating. Lots of great articles, reviews, and links.

ChrisChaput.com – Old Schooler who is still at it today. His site features downhill races, board templates, make your own sliding gloves, and much more. Very cool!

Silverfish Longboarding – Excellent longboarding site with trick tips, news, product reviews and much more...

Gordon and Smith Fibreflex – Gordon and Smith has been making their unique wood/fibreglass hybrid since 1964. Here you'll find G&S' current line of Fibreflex longboards. I love mine...
